\n<\/em>Martin Wieland studierte am Institut f\u00fcr Sozial- und Kulturanthropologie der Universit\u00e4t Wien und spezialisierte sich auf Mongolistik und Gender Studies. Er ist Gr\u00fcnder und Leiter eines medizinischen Verlags. Er hat mehrere gro\u00dfe EU Projekte zur Gesundheitsf\u00f6rderung am Arbeitsplatz und zur grenz\u00fcberschreitenden Gesundheitsversorgung entwickelt und geleitet und war Berater f\u00fcr grenz\u00fcberschreitende Gesundheitsversorgung beim Europ\u00e4ischen Ausschuss der Regionen in Br\u00fcssel. Er hat Europ\u00e4ische Gesundheitspolitik an der Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Weiterbildung Krems unterrichtet.
\nSeit 2008 arbeitet er an der Universit\u00e4tsbibliothek Wien, ist einer der Gr\u00fcnder der Abteilung f\u00fcr Bibliometrie und organisierte die Gr\u00fcndung und Entwicklung der European Summer School for Scientometrics (esss).
\nSeit 2025 ist er Koordinator von ubifo.<\/p>\n

Martin Wieland studied at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology \u00a0(University of Vienna) and specialised in Mongolian- and Gender Studies. He\u2019s founder and head of a medical publishing company. He has developed and managed several major European Union projects on workplace health promotion and cross-border healthcare and was an advisor on cross-border healthcare at the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels. He has taught European health policy at the University for Continuing Education Krems.
\n<\/span>Since 2008 working at the Vienna University Library, he has been one of the founders of the Department of Bibliometrics and organised the establishment and development of the European Summer School for Scientometrics (esss).
\nHe is ubifo coordinator since 2025.<\/div>\n
