\"guba\"<\/td>\nTechnische Universit\u00e4t Wien<\/em><\/span>Beate Guba (geb. 1968) studierte Deutsche und Klassische Philologie sowie Bibliotheks- und Informationsmanagement. Sie sammelte Berufserfahrung als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut f\u00fcr Germanistik der Universit\u00e4t Wien und als Lehrbeauftragte an der Universit\u00e9 de Bordeaux und der Universit\u00e4t Vaasa. Danach war sie f\u00fcr die digitale Bibliothek der Salzburger Landeskliniken \/ Paracelsus Medizinischen Privatuniversit\u00e4t und f\u00fcr das Informationsmanagement am Ludwig Boltzmann Institut f\u00fcr Health Technology Assessment verantwortlich. Von 2008-2016 leitete sie Die Bibliothek Wirtschaft & Management der Technischen Universit\u00e4t Berlin, die in diesem Zeitraum mit 5 Preisen f\u00fcr ihre Innovationen ausgezeichnet wurde.<\/p>\n

Im Juli 2016 \u00fcbernahm Beate Guba die Leitung der Universit\u00e4tsbibliothek der Technischen Universit\u00e4t Wien. Sie vertritt die Technische Universit\u00e4t Wien in zahlreichen Vereinigungen und Gremien, u.a. in der EOSC Association, European Citizen Science Association, \u00d6sterreich forscht. Seit 01.11.2023 ist sie Sprecherin des Steering Committee der \u00f6sterreichischen EOSC-Initiative.<\/p>\n

Beate Guba (born 1968) studied German and classical philology as well as library and information management. She gained professional experience as a research assistant at the Institute for German Studies at the University of Vienna and as a lecturer at the Universit\u00e9 de Bordeaux and the University of Vaasa. She was then responsible for the digital library at the Salzburger Landeskliniken \/ Paracelsus Medical Private University and for information management at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Health Technology Assessment. From 2008-2016 she headed the Business & Management Library at the Technical University of Berlin, which was awarded 5 prizes for its innovations during this period.<\/p>\n

In July 2016, Beate Guba took over the management of the university library at the Vienna University of Technology. She represents the Vienna University of Technology in numerous associations and committees, including the EOSC Association, European Citizen Science Association, Austria Research. Since November 1st, 2023 she has been the spokesperson for the Steering Committee of the Austrian EOSC initiative.<\/p>\n
