Lukas Zach (geb. 1983) studierte Keltologie und Ur- und Fr\u00fchgeschichte an der Universit\u00e4t Wien und begann 2006, w\u00e4hrend des Studiums, als studentische Hilfskraft an der Bibliothek der MedUni Wien zu arbeiten. 2010-2011 absolvierte er den ULG Library and Information Studies an der \u00d6sterreichischen Nationalbibliothek und arbeitete danach in den Teams Inhaltliche Erschlie\u00dfung und Teaching Library sowie im Lesesaaldienst. Er arbeitete u.a. in Projekten wie e-Infrastructures Austria Plus, AT2OA sowie AT2OA 2 mit und ist Mitglied der V\u00d6B-Kommission f\u00fcr Nachhaltigkeit. 2019-2021 absolvierte er den ULG Masterlehrgang und war ab 2021 stv. Leiter der Bibliothek. Seit Mai 2026 leitet er die Universit\u00e4tsbibliothek der MedUni Wien.<\/p>\n

Lukas Zach (born 1983) studied Celtic Studies and Prehistoric and Protohistoric Archaeology at the University of Vienna and began working as a student assistant at the MedUni Vienna Library in 2006. In 2010\u20132011, he completed the ULG Library and Information Studies program at the Austrian National Library and subsequently worked in the Subject Indexing and Teaching Library teams as well as in the reading room service. He has collaborated on projects such as e-Infrastructures Austria Plus, AT2OA, and AT2OA 2, and is a member of the V\u00d6B Commission for Sustainability. From 2019 to 2021, he completed the ULG Master\u2019s program and served as deputy director of the library starting in 2021. Since May 2026, he has been the director of the University Library at MedUni Vienna..<\/p>\n
